Early last year we got the chance to introduce a partnership of real excitement and promise, Diction hooked us with two larger than life releases in the shape of 'Ultimatum' & 'Been A While', a collection of epic tracks that exuded a remarkable combination of well-trained-ears and ambition. In this latest release they maintain their uniquely dark vision for larger than life techno.

'Silk Owl' starts this EP perfectly, a rumbling bass bin, a devilish lead, glass-shard hats & fx and a 90's reminisce in the termagant vocal, convince you that they're blazing a new direction within the confines of they're chosen genre. And then came 'The Back', a gutsy rolling arrangement that moves and twists through anti-climatic drops and breaks, all-the-while instructing you with that dark vocal. 'The Ropes' keeps that drive going; epitomising big-room techno through-out, a grotesquely throbbing bassline leads a finger-to-the-air groove, whilst a distant femme-fatale voice pings off the distant walls of this cavernous track.
