Jnks really knows how to make techno, which has become clear in recent times with work on the legendary Alex Dolby's Affekt imprint. The Mexican misfit arrived on DPR with a thump in the shape of his remix of fellow label mate, Ettica's magnificent 'Bomb The Opera' last summer! Now with this new EP, he's introducing you to his signature work; eerie, big room techno! Every track you could imagine in a massive cavernous basement or warehouse gripping everyone by the proverbial balls and not letting go. From the lead track Eagle Eye, which grows and throbs from start-to-finish, encompassing dark, emotive tendencies for such big room techno. Whilst 'Bluffin' constantly builds into a mouth-foaming, fist-punching, techno goliath, an unforgiving and unrelenting beast. But it doesnt stop there, the remixes come in with the same ferocity and a 100%% Mexican made guarantee! With Redraft Memories who's seen releases on Bush Records and Roi Martinez who's work has been found on DSR Digital. Roi Martinezs remix of 'Eagle Eye' punches like a real heavyweight, into a frog-marching, groaning riot but with enough subtlety to still hold the original's dark enclaves.
