about

We welcome on Death Proof the true Queen of the Los Angeles techno scene: Audrey Napoleon. This Hollywood femme fatale is trying her damned hardest to make sure people stop to take notice, and with a release of this calibre she's doing a mighty fine job of it!
Having released some of her filthiest techno via Circuit Freq's self titled label and a recent remix of D. Ramirez via the gargantuan Toolroom, we now take great pleasure in giving you her latest work: the rolling, twitching, orgasmic 'Group Games' and the melodic, minimalesque joint, 'Mission Sleep'.

On remix duties is the UK's funk-fuelled Frogs In Socks (Southern Fried, Phuture Trax); these guys are really coming on leaps & bounds (see what we did there?). Out comes the brass & keys on their remix of 'Mission Sleep', popping and jiving to make a real house classic!

And bringing up the rear, we've once again unleashed label owner Benjamin Vial; he's taken it down a couple of notches to give us a low slung, throbbing, bass-laden techno affair, with a respectful nod to old school house à la 'French Kiss'!

Supported by Laurent Garnier, Zombie Nation, Claude VonStroke and many more!
